Morris PAC’s Andres Retires
Dennis Andres, the executive director of the Morris Performing Arts Center and Palais Royale ballroom in South Bend, Ind., retired Aug. 12 after 16 years in the position.
He was joined by South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg and other civic leaders in the PAC’s lobby for a sendoff and celebration of his career that included oversight of a $25 million renovation project for both the PAC theatre and Palais Royale ballroom.
Prior to joini in Merrillville, Ind., and South Bend’s Saint Mary’s College, where he was a production manager. Andres and his wife plan to relocate to Chapel Hill, N.C., according to the South Bend Tribune.
