Skylar Grey Announces Natural Causes Tour
Marking her third LP, Natural Causes is due out Sept. 23 via KidinaKorner and Interscope Records. The album includes the singles “Moving Mountains” and “Off Road.” Last month Grey unveiled the music video for “Off Road,” shot with Samsung’s Gear 360.
The pop singer/songwriter worked with a number of producers on Natural Causes including Alex da Kid, Mark Batson and Mike Elizondo. Eminem produced the song “Come Up For Air.”
She first joined forces with Marshall Mathers and Alex da Kid when they co-wrote “Love the Way You Lie,” which went on to be a big hit, featuring Rihanna. Grey’s songwriting credit earned her two 2011 Grammy nods for “Song of the Year” and “Best Rap Song.” The next year she was nominated for Best Rap Song and Best Rap/Song Collaboration for the Dr. Drew single “I Need A Doctor,” featuring Grey and Eminem.
