The Firm Names Doug James Music VP
The Firm has announced Doug James vice president of music, reporting to the company’s music head Angelica Cob-Baehler.
James comes with more than 25 years of experience from Capitol Records where he oversaw the film, TV and brand teams working with clients including Sam Smith, Bastille and Katy Perry.
“We are excited to bring Doug’s proven focus and expertise to our music team,” Cob-Bahler said. “Not only is he the best in the field of Synch, Licensing and Branding but Doug has always shown himself to be an expert marketer and a passionate advocate for artists which makes him a perfect fit at The Firm.”
The Firm produces film and television content across several networks and studios and has operations in music and sports. The company re-launched in 2015 with CEO Jeff Kwatinetz.
