David Crosby Shines A Light On Fall Tour
Lighthouse is due out Oct. 21 on GroundUP Music/Verve Label Group.
Check out “The City,” Crosby’s ode to New York that NPR named one of its “Songs We Love.”
NPR proclaims, “Like the rest of Lighthouse, ‘The City’ has an urgency and intimacy that benefits from the stripped-down production approach. … When those rich layers of complex vocal harmony kick in, all the lush, luminous qualities that can make the city so seductive are instantly underlined.”
The acclaimed singer/songwriter is joined on the road by Lighthouse producer and Snarky Puppy bandleader Michael League, along with Lighthouse contributors Becca Stevens and Michelle Willis. The group is promising to put on quite the show by swapping instruments and combining vocals to recreate the harmonies featured on the LP.
Crosby’s PR rep the musicians will also “breathe a new spirit into songs from Crosby’s remarkable career.”
