Chris Cornell’s South America Plan

Chile, Peru, Brazil and Argentina will receive Chris Cornell when the Soundgarden frontman  rolls through South America.

The newly added dates sending Cornell south of the equator are the latest chapter in his critically acclaimed Higher Truth World Tour in support of the 2015 album of the same name.

Cornell has a lot to work with and has been performing numbers from his days with Soundgarden, Temple Of The Dog and Audioslave as well as drawing from his solo material.  Islander’s Dan Nailen noted that Cornell’s July gig at The Fox in Spokane, Wash., delivered the goods.

“The set was filled with songs from throughout Cornell’s career, most of them accompanied by a story about the song’s origins, or a funny non sequitur that showed a guy known for dark lyrics has a wicked sense of humor.” wrote Islander’s Dan Nailen about Cornell’s July gig at The Fox in Spokane, Wash.
