Never Forget Yandel

Reggaeton superstar Yandel is headed to the U.S. for a tour this fall, and he is bringing along Alexis y FidoPlan BDe La Ghetto, DJ Lobo and Gadiel.

Yandel recently inked an exclusive deal with industry giant Live Nation, so the tour is being handled by that company.

The first American date is in Chicago Oct. 9 at  in Buena Vista, Fla.

Prior to the North American run, the Puerto Rico native has a show on his home island in San Juan Oct. 7, which will actually be the kickoff of the tour.

He is also scheduled to play the  in New York Sept. 24, and if you can’t make it to that show live, his performance will be livestreamed on YouTube and audio-streamed through iHeartRadio. Speaking of iHeartRadio, he is also playing the  in Miami Nov. 5, right before the end of his headline run.

Alexis y Fido, Plan B and De La Ghetto are sprinkled in during the routing, with each group joining for select dates. DJ Lobo and Gadiel are with the singer for the whole tour.

Yandel became famous in the 2000s for his work as part of the duo , which is billed as the only reggaeton act to have earned a (non-Latin) Grammy. That group took a break in 2013 for the members to work on solo projects and since then, Yandel has hits like “Nunca Me Olvides” and “Encantadora ” moving up charts in different markets.

TIDAL, Citi card and Live Nation presales open Aug. 30 at 10 a.m. local time. The general onsale starts the following day, Aug. 31 at the same time.
