The Melbourne-based trio will release its first album, Electric Glitter Boogie, in the U.S. next year. If the samples on the band’s SoundCloud page are any indication, the recordings are decidedly Lo-Fi, bringing the sounds and feel of a garage or grungy club to your speakers or headphones.

Power’s new dates start in Nashville on Sept. 23 and extend until the  in Toronto Oct. 16. During that three-week run the group plays the  festival in Memphis Sept. 30, and has headline dates in venues like  in Los Angeles, and  in Seattle.

The Western and Texas dates are mostly with Ex-Cult, Oct. 2-10. Playing one show only are Neil Michael Hagerty, at the Nashville opener which is actually a support date for The Howling Hex, Fred and Toody at the Sept. 26 gig in Detroit, and Fifth Hound Oct. 13 in Brooklyn.

About Power, Pitchfork says: “Power are doing glam rock boogie at its most beer-drunk, fuzz-slathered, and dexterous. It’s awesome.”
