Mike Gordon Back On The Road

He has been touring with guitarist Scott Murawski and percussionist Craig Myers since 2008, but last year with the release of The Last Step, Gordon started playing alongside Robert Walter on the synthesizer and organ and John Kimock on drums.

The group already took on a dozen or so U.S. dates earlier on in the year around Texas, the Southwest and West Coast. Now the new dates are mostly through the continental South and Northeast, with a couple stops in the Midwest. The new dates kick off Nov. 18 in St. Louis and conclude with a three-night stop at The Sinclair in Cambridge, Mass., Dec. 9-11.

As for the music, if you are into Phish, you will probably really dig Mike Gordon’s stuff. Phish is on the road in October, mostly in the South and Las Vegas, so some lucky fans might be able to see both the group and Gordon doing his solo stuff.
