The amphitheatre is being replaced with residential development and a “community facility” that may be used for a park or private school. Plans have been approved but not finalized. Irvine Co., had a 35 year lease with Live Nation that ends next year, the LA Times reported. LN has teamed up with developer FivePoint to propose plans for a new venue that will be presented to the city council in the coming weeks, according to the Orange County Register.

In the meantime, be sure to join Stefani and YTG in making history and saying farewell to the Meadows.

“I have so many memories at Irvine Meadows,” Stefani said. “It has been such an important part of my life both as an artist and as a fan and it will always hold a special place in my heart. I am humbled to perform there once again as it comes to a close. Thank you Irvine Meadows.”
