Alicia Keys, Beyoncé Playing ‘Tidal X: 1015’

Following rumors last week that Jay Z and Beyoncé were putting together a charity concert, the official lineup has been announced for “Tidal X: 1015,” with Alicia Keys, Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj topping the list.

During last year’s debut Tidal charity concert Jay-Z promised it would return as an annual event.

Scheduled for Oct. 15, the show is once again taking place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Although Jay Z’s name isn’t included on the roster, there’s a chance the rapper might stop by After all, he’s one of the co-owners of the streaming service, along with a group of artists including Keys, Beyoncé, Minaj, Chris Martin, Jason Aldean, Calvin Harris and Jack White.  

The official 2016 lineup boasts Ms. Lauryn Hill, Common, T.I.P., DNCE, Robin Thicke, Emeli Sandé, Prince Royce, Blood Orange, Salva, Cipha Sounds, Ross One, Bebe Rexha and more.

The event is also an opportunity to showcase rising Tidal acts including Marc E. Bassy, Lil Yachty, Kevin Garrett, Danielle Bradbery, Sir The Baptist, and Levi Carter. Your host is Angie Martinez.

An announcement on Tidal’s website notes that the benefit concert is in collaboration with the Robin Hood Foundation, with all proceeds “to support education across the pipeline.”
