Chris Brown Reportedly Denied Entry To Japan
Tickets are still on sale for gigs at T
This would not be the first time Breezy’s legal troubles have interfered with his travel plans. Brown was denied entry into Australia and was turned down for a work visa in the United Kingdom in 2015, both due to his previous conviction of domestic violence against Rihanna.
Brown was later slapped with a lawsuit for the losses promoters suffered as a result of canceled Australian dates in April. The entertainer pleaded his case on Twitter, saying he would “be more than grateful to come to Australia to raise awareness on domestic violence, I am not the pink elephant in the room anymore … My life mistakes should be a wake up call for everyone. Showing the world that mistakes don’t define you.”
A case was also brought against him in June by ex-personal manager Michael Guiguis, or “Mike G,” for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and other grievances.
The Aug. 30 incident is still under investigation. A woman called the Los Angeles police and said Brown aimed a gun directly at her head for admiring a necklace. Brown was arrested after a lengthy standoff with police, during which he uploaded several videos onto social media websites. He was eventually released on $250,000 bail.
Brown and his legal representatives have maintained the woman’s claims are fabricated and the artist did nothing wrong by refusing to leave his home.
