Aurora

Norwegian singer-songwriter Aurora’s hit “Conqueror” could easily describe what she and her band have been doing for a while now – winning over fans and conquering markets wherever they go.

Aurora, who wrote her first song when she was 9 years old, caught the attention of Tom Windish of The Windish Agency early on.

Steve Goodgold, co-agent with Windish, told Pollstar, “Tom heard her on a blog in 2013. He pursued her through her Norwegian management and we all decided to work together,” he said. “Tom also introduced Daniel Glass at Glassnote Records to her and he decided to sign her to his label in the U.S.”

Aurora’s U.S. television debut on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” in March and appearances on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” “Conan” and other programs increased the 20-year-old’s presence and fan base. Katy Perry is among those fans who have tweeted her praise.

Aurora, along with Alf Godbolt on keyboards, Magnus Skylstad on drums, O. Martin on bass and Silja Sol on synth, has been playing to sold-out crowds in Europe and the States and appearing at festivals such as Lollapalooza Berlin, Øya and Sziget.

“Aurora has the charm, charisma and confidence of someone twice her age. She is a true artist and every time she takes the stage it’s impossible not to be drawn to her,” Goodgold said.  “She inspires, every time she sings.  Her passion is unmistakable and contagious.”

European and North American dates are booked through mid-December.
