Marc E. Bassy’s Groovy Outing

The outing is in support of his latest EP, Groovy People, which dropped in August via BPG/Republic Records and debuted in the Top 15 of iTunes Top Pop Albums Chart. Its lead single, “You & Me,” feat. G-Eazy, racked up more than 75 million Spotify streams.

The California native has written and collaborated with many artists over the years including Kehlani, Ty Dolla $ign, Charlie Puth, Wiz Khalifa and Prince Royce. Bassy’s own sound is a diverse blend of hip-hop, pop and soul. Earlier this year, he was a special guest on G-Eazy and A$AP Ferg’s “When It’s Dark Out Tour.”

Before the outing begins, Bassy appears at the Tidal X charity concert in Brooklyn, N.Y., Oct. 15, which benefits the Robin Hood Foundation, a local poverty-fighting organization.
