WME Signs Anitta - Pollstar News

WME has announced the signing of Anitta, the Brazilian singer known in the States for her performance alongside Gilberto Gil and Caetano Veloso during the Opening Ceremony of the Summer Olympic Games.

The agency will represent her in all areas including music, film, television and book opportunities, outside of Brazil, with Rob Markus as the responsible agent.

In 2015, Anitta took home the prizes for “Best Latin Artist” at the Europe Music Awards (EMA), “Best Singer” at the Young Brazilian Awards, and “Best of the Year 2015” from the Faustão TV Globo Show. Anitta is self-managed.
