Nelly’s Antipodean Trek

There are headline dates in Sydney at the The Metro Theatre Nov. 17 and in Darwin Nov. 23 at Discovery. Those shows take place before and during a run of appearances at RnB Fridays Live throughout Australia.

After the RnB Fridays run Nelly will hit Melbourne, then Auckland and Christchurch in New Zealand for three more headline shows.

Nelly was just in Australia last year, and many artists choose not to make the trip annually, so his return shows appreciation to fans on the other side of the world.

The rapper’s next U.S. appearance, his last before heading Down Under, is at the Discovery in Dallas Oct. 15. After the run in the Pacific he already has a few dates locked in for 2017.

Nelly is the best-selling rapper to emerge out of St. Louis and has a school in his hometown where he teaches youngsters how to produce and mix music.

Nelly is also a film and television actor. He is currently starring in the reality television shows “Real Husbands of Hollywood” and “Nellyville.”

On top of all this, if you were curious, he also has entered multiple business ventures, offering products like “Air Derrty” sneakers and “Pimp Juice” energy drinks. He is also an occasional commentator on sports talk shows.
