The project is a collaboration between Funny Or Die and Next Gen Climate, the environmental group of billionaire Tom Steyer. It will span college campuses up and down California with shows throughout California. The goal is to register young people to vote and, presumably, to get them to vote progressively on issues like climate change.

“We believe comedy is the political art form of this generation,” Brad Jenkins of Funny or Die told the LA Times. “This historic comedy tour is what Funny Or Die does best – we reach young people where they are, on their terms, and inspire them to action.”

The first show was last night, Sept. 29 at East Los Angeles City college, and ticketing was free. Ticketing information for the other gigs is currently not available, but the routing is.
