The new Park Theatre at Monte Carlo Resort & Casino in Las Vegas makes its debut Dec. 17 with performances by Stevie Nicks and The Pretenders.

The 5,300-seat multi-purpose venue has a 7,640 square-foot stage, a 240-foot-wide projection surface, 3D motion graphics and an 80-foot-wide LED display with 4K resolution.

The space is customizable and the farthest seat from the stage is 145 feet “offering unparalleled views from anywhere within the theatre.” “This new space is unlike any venue in the MGM Resorts portfolio,” said Richard Sturm, president of entertainment for MGM Resorts International. “Guests will be wowed to see their favorite entertainers, like Stevie, in such an intimate environment with unbelievable sound and video capabilities. And, no guest should miss having a drink on one of our outdoor terraces overlooking the T-Mobile Arena and The Park, the city’s newest outdoor dining and entertainment district.”

The venue is the first step in transforming the Monte Carlo, which will take place over the next two years and include two hotels.
