Gov’t Mule Announce NYE Plans

Although Halloween is coming up in just a few weeks, the members of Gov’t Mule have New Year’s Eve on their minds. After all, the only thing scarier than All Hallows’ Eve is not having plans for the biggest party of the year.

Warren Haynes & the gang will once again be ringing in the new year at New York City’s Beacon Theater. The celebration is set for Dec. 30-31.

2016 has been pretty good to Gov’t Mule. The band spent the summer touring with Blackberry Smoke and then hit the road in September for an amphitheatre run with ZZ Top. In August Gov’t Mule released the archival LP The Tel-Star Sessions, including recordings of the band’s original lineup featuring Hayes, Allen Woody and Matt Abts.

An announcement from Gov’t Mule’s PR rep declares, “Fans can expect another big year ahead for the band in 2017!”

Before saying farewell to 2016 the band has several North American dates left of its routing, including gigs in Montreal, Toronto, New Haven and Rochester.

VIP packages for the NYC shows will be available including exclusive admission to the band’s sound check and a pre-show party including a dinner buffet and open bar. You’ll also get a limited edition poster, a limited edition Gov’t Mule New Year’s Eve Run T-shirt, merchandise gift and a code to download both Gov’t Mule performances via Mule Tracks.

A presale for VIP tickets begins Oct. 12. Tickets go on sale to the general public Oct. 19.
