Download Coming To Madrid

Live Nation is bringing its Download festival brand to Spain June 23-24, 2017. An official website, downloadfestival.es, is up, announcing System Of A Down as its first act.

Tickets are supposed to go on sale Oct. 21. The early-bird price will be euro 100 plus fees. “More information soon,” the website states.

Apart from a few Spanish rock sites picking up on the website’s announcement that System Of A Down would headline the first edition, there’s not much additional information to be found. But an industry source close to Live Nation in Spain confirmed with Pollstar that the festival was indeed happening.
