Phil Collins In Conversation

Phil Collins appears in New York this month for a discussion with journalist Anthony Mason about his upcoming memoir, “Not Dead Yet.” Each ticket for the event includes a copy of the book.

The conversation takes place at the 92nd Street Y’s Kaufman Concert Hall Oct. 26 at 8 p.m. The autobiography details Collins’ life from childhood actor to successful songwriter and musician. The candid talk will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at Collins’ life and career throughout the decades.

Collins joined Genesis in the ’70s as a drummer and took the role of vocalist after Peter Gabriel departed the band. Collins also pursued a solo career in the ’80s while maintaining his responsibilities with Genesis. Popular tracks from his catalog include “In the Air Tonight,” “Against All Odds,” “Take Me Home” and “Sussudio.”
