moe.’s Winter Excursion
Jam band extraordinaire moe. sums up its January/February tour plans as “Beach > Boat > Sun > Snow > Mountains > Sun again! 2017 is looking pretty great right about now!” The new headline dates follow the group’s appearance on Jam Cruise , which is headed to Jamaica and Grand Cayman Island.
We don’t blame the band for not wanting to stick around its hometown of Buffalo, N.Y., during the dead of winter, when the average high temperature is in the low 30s.
The sunny spots on the routing include gigs in Saint Petersburg, Fla.; Orlando and Atlanta.
Maybe we’ll also hear new music from moe. in 2017. We’ll have to wait and see. For now, here’s the winter tour itinerary:

Presale tickets will be available through the band’s website beginning Oct. 18 at 10 a.m. local venue time. The general public onsale starts Oct. 21.
The band closes out 2016 with two Halloween shows at The Fillmore Philadelphia Oct. 28-29 and two New Year’s Eve shows at The Wilma in Missoula, Mont., Dec. 30-31.
