Phil Collins Eyes Europe

Looks as if Phil Collins is getting a little antsy.  The former Genesis man, whose autobiography lands in stores this week, has announced June gigs in England, Germany and France.

Collins’ life story, titled “Not Dead Yet,” arrives Oct. 20.  The graphic posted on his website showcases the newly revealed dates as “Not Dead Yet Live!”

Whether the drummer/singer/songwriter/actor is planning something on a global nature remains to be seen.  During a March press conference promoting a benefit in Miami Beach, Collins said he missed the road “quite a bit” but was not “going to commit” to such an undertaking.

Collins does have a New York engagement planned for next week.  He will appear at 92nd Street Y’s Kaufman Concert Hall Oct. 26 for a candid conversation about his career.

Collins’ newly announced shows are June 4-5 & 7-9 at Royal Albert Hall in London; June 11-12 at Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany; and June 18-19 at Accor Hotels Arena in Paris, France.
