Maren Morris In The Driver’s Seat

Currently on the road, Maren Morris took center stage with a performance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” earlier today, and has announced a headline tour.

Morris was featured in Pollstar as a HotStar several months ago and has been on tour with Keith Urban since June. That trek is still in full swing and she has been playing music from her album Hero, which released at the opening of the journey.

The new “Hero Tour” headline dates start in Boston Feb. 3 and move into the regional South and Midwest. The songstress has promised more dates, but the routing currently ends with three nights in Texas, with the last show being in New Braunfels March 25.

Today she performed her single “80s Mercedes” on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” Check it out below:

Morris is arriving onto the country music scene in a big way. Her song “My Church” is nominated for the CMA’s Single of the Year and Song of the Year, Hero is up for Album of the Year and she could also be the Female Vocalist of the Year and the New Artist of the Year.
