Chance The Rapper is playing his first shows in Australia in early 2017 … Billy Bragg and Joe Henry to join forces for four nights … Scottish rock act Teenage Fanclub is headed to Brisbane and Melbourne.

Chance The Rapper is heading deep into the Pacific for gigs in Sydney and Melbourne he announced yesterday.

The shows are set to take place at  Jan. 3 and  Melbourne Jan. 4. He is also booked at  Dec. 29 in Gisborne, New Zealand and the Aussie festivals  and  the following two days in Lardner and Perth respectively.

The announcement came via Twitter, and the shows are being included as a part of Chance’s “Magnificent Coloring World Tour” and are being booked through Live Nation, although Chance remains unsigned to any major record label.

2016 has been a banner year for Chance. He released his third mixtape Coloring Book earlier in the year and launched his inaugural  Festival in September. He also contributed greatly to Kanye West’s 2016 album The Life of Pablo.

Billy Bragg and Joe Henry will be performing music from their collaborative album in Australia in April next year.

The  hosts a performance April 19 and  in Geelong gets a gig April 20. Melbourne will see two performances on April 22 and 23, both at the .

Bragg is also booked for  at  April 15. The pair also plays in San Francisco tonight and tomorrow in Los Angeles.

The two worked together on Shine a Light: Field Recordings from the Great American Railroad, which came out in September.

A presale for the Sydney gig starts Oct. 26 and for the Melbourne shows Oct. 27. The general onsales open Oct. 31 at 9 a.m. local time.

After releasing its tenth album, Teenage Fanclub is returning to Australia for a run of headline dates and a festival appearance, with The Goon Sax opening.

The band has headline dates in Brisbane March 8 and Melbourne March 13. It will also be playing a show at the  in Mosman on March 10 and at the  in Melbourne March 12.

Teenage Fanclub has been around for decades, having toured with Nirvana during its heyday. The latest album, Here, is being billed as “the band’s subtlest, warmest release to date and also one of their strongest” by Pitchfork.

The presale for the headline gigs runs from noon on Oct. 26 to the same time on the 27th. The general onsale starts Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. local time. TeenageFanclub.com is the official site about the band.
