Season of The Damned

The Damned returns to North America for a spring run beginning in Los Angeles in early April.  Destinations for the legendary British punk band include San Diego, Seattle, St. Louis, Chicago, Boston, Toronto and Dallas.

Studio time is among the items on The Damned’s agenda.  The band heads into the studio come winter to record its first album of new material since 2008’s So, Who’s Paranoid?  The Damned’s PledgeMusic project provides several options for fans wanting to pre-order the album, including colored vinyl, as well as exclusive merch and experiences.

The Damned is celebrating the 40th anniversary of  its first single, “New Rose,”  by releasing a limited edition 7-inch vinyl edition of the song Nov. 4 via BMG that includes an exclusive fold-out poster, picture disc and original artwork.

Fans in Los Angeles and New York can see The Damned before the month’s end.  The band is booked for Los Angeles’ Belasco Theater Oct. 27 and New York’s Gramercy Theatre Oct. 29-30. All three gigs are sold out.  You’ll also find Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Monty Oxymoron, Pinch and Stu West playing the United Kingdom and Europe November-December.
