New Talent Buyer For Latitude Festival

Festival Republic hired Lucy Wood to program the Suffolk, England-based Latitude Festival.

Wood replaces Natasha Haddad, who will remain with the company as consultant. Haddad had been booking Latitude Festival since 2013. She is stepping down to be able to spend more time in the U.S. Wood joins Festival Republic from Eat Your Own Ears, where she worked on various events, such as Field Day, as well as artists including The xxGrimes and Beirut.

Festival Republic MD Melvin Benn said Haddad would be “greatly missed … but we obviously welcome her continued participation and advice.” About Wood, he added: “I am very pleased to be welcoming Lucy, and have no doubt that her fresh and vibrant attitude will be an invaluable asset to the 12th Edition of Latitude Festival and for future years to come.”

Wood said she was “really excited to be joining the Festival Republic team. Latitude has always been one of my favorite festivals because it has consistently strong programming, and attracts people who are devoted to music but not hung up on genre. It’s amazing to be able to program for such an open-minded, music-loving audience.”
