The new dates start Jan. 29 in Oslo, Norway, and continue for a few weeks until Feb. 19 in Dublin, Ireland. Prior to closing night, the ladies play a five-show run in the United Kingdom, the longest they spend in any country on the continent. They also have four shows in Germany scattered throughout t and are on tour in North America until Nov. 16, when they have a show at Fort Lauderdale, Fla. There is a two-night stand at  planned in Washington, D.C. Nov. 6-7, so superfans in the capital will have a great chance hear lots of their material live.

The ladies also play  in Mexico City Nov. 19, along with The KillersLCD SoundsystemLana Del ReyKraftwerkPet Shop Boys and many more. They also have a pair of shows in Australia in March, at the  and  in Mosman.

The sisters, Tegan Rain Quin and Sara Keirsten Quin, are identical twins from Calgary, Alberta, who have been a force in the international Indie Pop scene for nearly two decades. A large part of their artistic and public identity is rooted in their advocacy for the LGBT community.

The latest album is titled Love You To Death and officially came out in June. Along with some of the new tunes Tegan and Sara have promised re-works of old fan favorites and dance choreography for a new kind of live show.
