Michael Ma Named WME IMG China CEO
Michael Ma has been named CEO of WME \ IMG China. Ma spent 13 years with the NBA developing the organization’s presence in China.
In his new role, Ma will be based in Beijing in an effort to advance the company’s growth in the country.
WME IMG China was formed in June through a Sequoia Capital China-led investment group, but the agency has had a presence in China that has spanned “several decades.”
