Nelly Goes Symphonic

The Nashville Recording Orchestra is backing Nelly for a special one-off performance of the rapper’s classic hits early next year.

The gig will take place at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center’s Andrew Jackson Hall Feb. 4. Hits promised to be covered in the evening are “Country Grammar,” “Hot in Herre” and “Just a Dream.”

This wouldn’t be the first time Nelly has performed with a live orchestra. He played a “a Night of Symphonic Hip Hop” gig with the
