Timothy B. Schmit Flying Solo

Schmit released Leap of Faith, his sixth studio album, earlier this year. The album was recorded in Los Angeles and a two disc Vinyl edition is being released Nov. 4.

“Leap of Faith is an Americana album … delivered by an elder statesman who’s been laying the brickwork for Americana’s existence since the 1970s,” Rolling Stone wrote.

Here is a performance of “Red Dirt Road,” one of the album’s big singles.

The California dates are being billed as the first part of a longer tour, so keep your ears open for more Schmit. The first night is scheduled in San Juan Capistrano Jan. 7, and the last date is currently Jan. 29 in Pasadena.
