Parnelli Awards 2016

The 16th annual Parnelli Awards, nicknamed the “Oscars” of the live event industry, took place at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas Oct. 22.

The Patrick Stansfield Tour Manager of the Year went to Angie Warner for Imagine Dragons and the Patrick Stansfield Production Manager of the Year went to Sara Full for The Lumineers. Richard Fernandez, longtime Tom Petty tour manager, earned the lifetime achievement award, with a surprise presentation by Petty.

Danny O’Bryen earned the visionary award and Greg Mackie was named audio innovator. Strictly FX took pyro company of the year for its work with Justin Bieber and Bandit Lights took lighting company of the year for Garth Brooks at Yankee Stadium. Staging Company of the Year went to Mountain Productions for its work with the CMA Music Festival.

Rock-It Cargo got the freight forwarding company award and Sound Image won best sound company for the Brad Paisley tour. Upstaging got the trucking award. Screenworks was chosen video production company of the year for its work with Guns N’ Roses and Upstaging is trucking company of the year. For a full list, visit www.parnelliawards.com.
