John Wentzell has been named president of Spectra’s venue management and food service and hospitality division.

He will take over the position Nov. 7.

Wentzell previously worked at Delaware North Companies for 20 years including six years overseeing Boston’s TD Garden, and at Comcast Spectacor as CEO of the American Hockey League’s Philadelphia Phantoms from 1996-2009.
