Gregg Allman’s January Gigs

Gregg Allman starts getting his 2017 calendar in order by announcing shows across the Southern States.  But first he has a two nights in Savannah, Ga., closing out 2016.

The new dates precede his February participation on the cruise, departing Tampa Feb. 6.

But the Allman Brother has a bit of business awaiting him before he dives into the new year.  He’ll play the Lucas Theatre in Savannah Dec. 30-31.

Allman isn’t exactly chillin’ during these final weeks of the year.  His second annual residency at New York’s City Winery runs Nov. 6-7, 9-11, 13-14 & 16-18.  While Allman rocks the Big Apple, photographer Patricia O’Driscoll’s photography of the artist will be displayed at the Morrison Hotel Gallery Nov. 10-27.

“I love coming to New York and staying a while,” Allman said about his City Winery residency.  “It feels natural.”

You’ll find Allman playing multiple nights in select cities during the January tour, kicking off with two nights at the Georgia Theatre in Atlanta, Jan. 3-4.  Other multiples include two nights in Birmingham, Ala., and four evenings in the Allman Brothers’ Macon, Ga., hometown.
