Chabon Joins AEG Live Southeast

Jeff Chabon, GM of the Kansas Expocentre in Topeka, has announced he is leaving his position to join John Valentino’s gang at the AEG Live SE office in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Chabon has been GM since February and spent seven years as booking contact at the AT&T Center in San Antonio but spent most of his career as a concert promoter, including running Chabon Entertainment Group in Jupiter, Fla., but his ties extend to AEG Live SE’s predecessor, Fantasma Productions, where he worked with Valentino and Jon Stoll throughout the 80s and 90s. 

The move will also bring him closer to his mother, who is turning 80.  He told Pollstar that his motto is “family first” and this opportunity falls in line with his philosophy.
