Japandroids Returns For European/North American Tour

For the first time in three years Japandroids is back on the road with an international routing that will see the group performing tunes from a brand new album.

The group has been quiet since the end of its tour promoting 2012’s Celebration Rock, but it is now back with a new album, Near To The Wild Heart Of Life, due out Jan. 27.

After that is a run in Europe starting April 18 in Denmark to May 6 in London. The group has an extended series of seven shows in the United Kingdom to close out this section of the routing.

Japandroids’ blend of dance and classic rock influences, particularly on Celebration Rock, was hailed as a breath of life for the genre. Check out the new single from the upcoming album, released last week.
