London Agent Natasha Bent Joins Coda
Bent commented on her new role: “I’m really excited to be part of this team, and look forward to continuing to work on developing strategies for my clients and the team at the forefront with passion.”
Bent started her music career as backing singer for Carleen Anderson, followed by a brief stint in music management. She then entered the live circuit by setting up her own Agency, The Village Agency, in 2004. She then joined The Agency Group, which was acquired by UTA last year.
Over the course of a decade she has worked with established artists such as Foals, Amy Macdonald, and The Knife. Bent was also instrumental in developing the careers of Chvrches, First Aid Kit, Cage The Elephant, Foster The People and Gotye, as well as breakthrough acts like Ry X, Tom Misch and Youngr. Her colleagues say that she’s known for her humility, dedication and passion for her acts.
She will be honored at the third Women In Music ceremony at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington on Nov. 11.
