Bonnie Raitt Books Run Of U.S. Gigs

Raitt is continuing to support her 17th studio album, Dig In Deep.

In September Raitt performed the track “Gypsy In Me” at the annual Americana Music Association Awards & Honors in Nashville. Tune in to PBS on Nov. 19 to see highlights from the event.

Fans will also want to watch PBS on New Year’s Eve to see a broadcast of the induction ceremony for the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame. Raitt – who was inducted along with Kris Kristofferson and B.B. King – performed several songs with Taj Mahal, Mavis Staples, Willie Nelson, and Gary Clark Jr.

The new U.S. dates are booked ahead of a previously announced trip to Australia in late March/ April. Here’s the plan:

Feb. 18 – Indio, Calif., Fantasy Springs Resort Casino & Special Events Ctr. (Riverside Co. Fair/Nat’l Date Fest)
Feb. 21 – Fresno, Calif., Warnors Theatre
Feb. 23 – Thousand Oaks, Calif., Fred Kavli Theatre
Feb. 25 – Santa Cruz, Calif., Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium
March 24 – Kahului, Hawaii, Maui Arts & Cultural Center
March 25 – Honolulu, Hawaii, Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall

The California Honeydrops appear March 24-25.

Raitt is once again working with the Guacamole Fund to donate one dollar from every ticket sold “to grassroots local, regional, and national organizations whose work focuses on safe and sustainable energy, social justice and human rights, environmental protection, and blues/music education.”
 
Fan presales for the February performances are scheduled Nov. 15-17. An onsale for special benefit seats begins Nov. 15. The general public onsale for most dates starts Nov. 18. The only exception is Indio, which goes on sale Nov. 25.

Presales for Kahului are scheduled Nov. 12 through Dec. 2, followed by the general onsale Dec. 3. Presales for Honolulu are scheduled Nov. 29 through Dec. 1, followed by the general onsale Dec. 2.
