Lake Street Dive Books U.S. Road Trip

Lake Street Dive is following up its previously announced performances in Australia, New Zealand and Japan with another run through the U.S. The 2017 excursion includes gigs in Brooklyn, Minneapolis, Denver and Oakland.

Rachael Price, Mike Olsen, Bridget Kearney and Mike Calabrese are wrapping up a U.K./Ireland tour with tonight’s gig in Dublin and Friday’s performance in Cork, Ireland. The soulful four-piece then heads to Australia in late December.

The U.S. tour begins with a show at Boston’s New England Conservatory, where the band members met as students. The concert will mark the prestigious school’s 150th anniversary. The outing concludes on the West Coast in March with several shows in California.

The setlist will most likely feature plenty of tunes from Lake Street Dive’s fifth studio album, Side Pony, which was released in February on Nonesuch.
