Fred Mangione has been named chief of staff for Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment in New York reporting to CEO Brett Yormark.

Mangione, who has been COO since 2014, will work with Yormark on long-term business planning across all company divisions.

Previously, Mangione was chief marketing officer and chief revenue officer for the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets and the Barclays Center.
