Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals’ Spring 2017 Tour
Harper and his backing back have been showing off tunes from Call It What It Is, which was released in April via Stax Records. This is the first album for Harper & The Innocent Criminals since 2007’s Lifeline.

The group wraps up 2016 with three shows in New Zealand. Up next is Friday’s show in Auckland.
An announcement on the band’s website promises that more dates are coming. In fact, the band plans to “continue touring throughout 2017.” Here are the initial dates:

April 29 – Mobile, Ala., Soul Kitchen
May 1 – Orlando, Fla., Hard Rock Cafe / Hard Rock Live
May 2 – Saint Petersburg, Fla., Jannus Live
May 5 – Jacksonville, Fla., Florida Theatre
May 6 – Atlanta, Ga., The Tabernacle
