Deep Purple’s Infinite Tour

With a new album on the way, Deep Purple has announced it’s headed back on the road. The initial dates released for the “Long Goodbye” tour will be in the U.K. The band is bringing Europe as a special guest act.

The newly announced trek, “The Long Goodbye Tour,” may mean that the group is getting ready to bid its fans farewell, as it has been around for nearly 50 years. The new dates start Nov. 17 at  in Birmingham and continue until Nov. 23 at  in London.

Deep Purple will be promoting music from its new album, titled inFinite, which is due out next year. The first single will drop on Jan. 20. The live albums From the Setting Sun in Wacken and To the Rising Sun in Tokyo came out in 2015 and the group released Now What?! in 2013.

The membership of the band has changed plenty over the years. Right now, Deep Purple is Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice, Steve Morse and Don Airey.
