Alan Jackson Lengthens ‘Highway’ Tour

The new dates are Feb. 25 at the Laughlin Event Center in Laughlin, Nev., and April 8 at St. Augustine Amphitheatre in St. Augstine, Fla. Promoters have promised more gigs are coming in the future.

There are also several festivals on the routing. The first is Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, with his appearance scheduled for April 9. He is also at Tree Town, Nebraskaland Days, and Nebraskaland Days.

Jackson will be performing hits from his more than 25 year-long career, including tunes from his 2015 release Angels and Alcohol. Jackson and Womack have a history of performing together in concert and on albums. It was Womack who honored the artist at the 2014 CMT Music Awards by presenting him with the Impact Award.
