Live Nation To Operate Royal Arena Copenhagen
The 16,000-capacity Royal Arena in the Danish capital of Copenhagen will open in February 2017. Royal Arena will play its first shows, four sold-out dates Feb. 3-9.

Live Nation will operate the arena through its Danish Venue Enterprise.
The company expects the new venue to host more than 80 events per year.
Dan Hammer, CEO of Danish Venue Enterprise, said: “The completion of Royal Arena represents a significant development for Copenhagen. Finally, the Danish capital is ready to enter the major league of European cities that have large indoor arenas specifically designed for live entertainment. Artists, athletes and fans are in for a treat when Royal Arena opens in February 2017.”
Thomas Johansson, Live Nation chairman of international music, added: “We now have a state of the art venue in wonderful Copenhagen and we couldn’t be more pleased, it’s an exciting time for Denmark’s capital.”
