NZ’s Winery Tour Announces Partners

Civic Events announced two partners for the 10th installment of the 12-date The Winery Tour (Jan. 27 to Feb. 19) with singer-songwriters Brooke FraserBic Runga, and Benny Tipene. 

The New Zealand Music Foundation will be is charity partner. It provides music therapy for institutions around the country and, since its setup in 2012, helped 20,000 people with physical, mental and emotional health and also provides aid to those in the NZ music industry suffering from financial and health issues.

Co-promoter Brent Eccles said, “The Winery Tour is an exceptional event, so it’s a perfect match for us to support an exceptional national music charity that is dedicated to helping change the lives of those in need.”

Returning as a partner for its 10th year is Glass Packaging Forum (GPF), which is responsible for educating people to separate infinitely recyclable product glass from other types of waste.

Currently 73 percent of all glass packaging consumed in the country is collected and recycled. Its strategy is to increase the number with partnerships like that of The Winery Tour.
