3 Doors Down Heads North
3 Doors Down will take its “Us And The Night” tour across Canada next year, with a run performances set for March.

“The Charlie Daniels Band Volunteer Jam,” Bridgestone Arena, Nashville, Tenn.
The rock act’s first show in the Great White North is in Moncton, New Brunswick, March 9. From there the group hits five different provinces, finally wrapping March 19 in Enoch, Alberta.
The run is a continuation of the group’s tour promoting its 2016 album Us And The Night. Vocalist Brad Arnold said the band “genuinely had fun writing and recording this album” and is looking forward to bringing the tunes to Canada. The next place to catch the former Pollstar HotStar is in Prior Lake, Minn., on New Year’s Eve at Mystic Showroom.
This year saw the death of Matt Roberts, the band’s founding guitar player, who reportedly died of an accidental overdose on prescription drugs. He left 3 Doors Down in 2012 because his health couldn’t keep up with the band’s rigorous touring schedule.
3 Doors Down is now Arnold, Chris Henderson and Chet Roberts on guitar, Greg Upchurch on drums and Justin Biltonen on bass. Arnold is the only remaining original member, although Henderson was there for the band’s meteoric rise with its debut album, The Better Life, containing the single “Kryptonite.”
Here is a video of the band performing its biggest hit with Roberts while he was still alive:
