Pollstar Exclusive! Common Kings Drops New Video

Common Kings hits the road with ¡Mayday! and Makua Rothmannext year to promote the songs from the upcoming album Lost In Paradise. The Kings have shared a music video for the title track and Pollstar has the exclusive first look.

The Lost In Paradise album comes out Feb. 3 through the band’s own label, Island Empire Records.Check out the first video from the reggae-rock project:

As the band has been coming up it has made inroads with some of pop’s biggest stars. Common Kings supported Meghan Trainor on tour earlier this year and its new album will include a track with Justin Bieber.

Common Kings is Sasualei “Jr King” Maliga on vocals, Taumata Grey on guitar, Ivan Kirimaua on bass and Jerome Taito on drums. The band members are all of Pacific Islander heritage, but the band formed in Southern California.

The tour to support the album kicks off Feb. 2 at Livewirein Scottsdale, Ariz., and continues until March 3 at The Fonda in Los Angeles.

¡Mayday! will support all the dates. That band is currently signed to Strange Music, the label owned by The Fonda.
