Tape Face Going To Las Vegas
You saw him on “America’s Got Talent” and now you can enjoy the silent comedy of Tape Face when the funny man brings his mime talents to Bugsy’s Cabaret At Flamingo beginning in February.
“A star is born!” exclaimed AGT judge Simon Cowell upon experiencing Tape Face’s unusual antics. From presenting oven mitts performing “Endless Love” karaoke to placing a toilet seat on Spice Girl Mel B’s head, Tape Face mines a treasure trove of untapped humor while not saying a single word.
Known as Sam Willis when his lips aren’t sealed, the native New Zealander began performing his silent standup comedy under the nom de plume The Boy With Tape On His Face in 2008 and eventually went on to snag a nomination for “Best Newcomer” at the Melbourne Comedy Festival.
Dates for Tape Face’s limited Las Vegas engagement are Feb. 22-26; March 1-5, 8-12, 22-26, 29-31, April 5-9, 19-23, 26-30 & May 3-7.
Tickets are on sale now. Check out Tape Face’s Facebook page for more information.
