Big Gigantic Announces Winter Tour

Better get out your shades, because the future is looking very bright. Big Gigantic unveiled dates today for the winter leg of the duo’s “Brighter Future Tour,” with tickets on sale this week.

The excursion is named after the livetronica act’s latest album, which was released in August. 

The fun begins Feb. 15 in Charleston, S.C., with a gig at Music Farm Charleston. Stops on the routing include Washington, D.C.; Cincinnati; Milwaukee; Grand Rapids, Mich.; and St. Louis. 

Brasstracks, Keys N Krates, Cherub, and The Floozies support select dates.

The band will once again be donating a portion of every ticket sold to A Big Gigantic Difference Foundation to support local charities. Saxophonist/producer Dominic Lalli and drummer Jeremy Salken started the #ABigGiganticDifference initiative a few years ago to “give back to those in need across the country … and to be a positive force in the world.” According to an announcement from the duo’s PR rep, the initiative has “collected and donated tens of thousands of dollars, school supplies, food and other items to those in need across the U.S.”
