Beesley Promoted At Wolf Trap

The Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts promoted Sara Beesley to senior director of program and production, the group announced Jan. 4.

She will oversee programming and performance operations at the Filene Center at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts and the  Barns at Wolf Trap in Vienna, Va.

Beesley joined Wolf Trap in March 2014 to support efforts to update programming that appealed to the Washington, D.C., market. She replaces Peter Zimmerman, a 17-year-veteran who stepped down in November after suffering a stroke.

Before joining Wolf Trap, Beesley was associate director of Joe’s Pub at the Public Theatre in New York City.
