Governors Ball Lineup Revealed
Tool, Chance The Rapper, Phoenix, Childish Gambino, Lorde, Flume and Wu-Tang Clan are among the many acts listed on the first lineup announcement for the Governors Ball Music Festival planned for June in NYC. Will you be ready when tickets go on sale this week?
Presented by Founders Entertainment, the June 2-4 extravaganza on Randall’s Island Park will also host Logic, Wiz Khalifa, Cage The Elephant, Marshmello, Mark Ronson vs Kevin Parker, Beach House, Schoolboy Q, Air, The Avalanches, Rae Sremmurd, The Head And The Heart, Tove Lo, Phantogram, Majid Jordan, Royal Blood and many others. More than 65 artists will appear during the three-day blowout.
– Governors Ball 2017Three-day general admission and VIP tickets go on sale Jan. 6 at 12 p.m. EST. Speaking of Very Important Perks, Governors Ball will feature redesigned amenities and locations as well as the best eats to be found in the Big Apple, curated by The Infatuation.
Also new for 2017 is the 21+ oasis giving 21-and-over ticketholders a chance to chill in the shade while sipping a tasty beverage. Meanwhile, all VIP areas will be 21-plus
New York loves Governors Ball. The fest generated $37.5 million in economic revenue streams for the city in 2017. The event also works with local communities and donates to organizations like the Mayor’s Fund.
